How is it in this day and age we are censored on the internet?? Seriously? I made a comment the other day. Bam! It was gone. I was, in fact, disagreeing with the author, but really was it necessary to delete my comment? I was shocked, to say the least.
People disagree about topics. That is the what makes this world such a beautiful place. The right to have and express our own opinions. The right to free speech and debate. I had previously thought this person was openminded and liked a challenge. Apparently I was wrong… that makes me sad. I now feel uncomfortable talking to and interacting with this person. That makes me doubly sad because I really like this person.
so yeah. C’est la vie I guess. Live and learn. There are so many cliches running through my head I’ll stop now.

if it will make you feel better, you can come to my blog and we can argue about..well, whatever…soemthing. You pick the topic, even if I agree with you, i will argue the other side.

There is a chick on Facebook that does this ALL the time. She’ll write something incredibly stupid or douchey, I’ll question it, BAM! Whole post comes down. I just don’t get it. Hello? If you want everyone to agree with everything you write, stash your journal under your fucking mattress. /rant

People take dissenting comments too personally and feel too attacked or vulnerable to leave them up. I’ve done it. :-/ But I’ve also gotten comments that were just personal attacks and I didn’t allow those to be posted. It’s all about self-esteem, I tell you.

well this is just a stupid post and i completely disagree with you! i think internet censorship is perfectly reasonable and acceptable and if you disagree with anything i ever post, i will delete the crap out of you!
haha. just kidding. if everyone agreed with me all the time, it would just be boring. i guess people like that just take things too personal, like if you disagree with them you’re personally attacking them or something. idk. people are dumb like that. i just looooove when someone deletes my comments because they disagree. or better yet, delete me as a contact all together because they disagree.
